Mv2-01 repair, as blue as hell

Hello Guys,

Today I will repair a mv2 left several years in a garage far away in Italy. Looking at the blue shiny oxyde, it must have been near the sea :)

As usual on mv2F, the battery tends to leak after a while, releasing it's blue oxyde that eats copper made connections on the Pcb. 

The cleaning process is using white vinegar on the board (cancelling the oxydation effect) and then performing a cleanup using isoprop alcohol.

Let's test the board after this cleaning process.... 

Game graphics are actually corrupted. The leak probably did it's job already near the zmc chip, responsible for graphic corruption. Let's uncover some traces that where below the blue oxyde and look for continuity.

The red part indicates traces that are actually cut. (4 of them...). I had to fix that using 0.2 mm copper wire (yes, that is very small, like a hair).

This made it ! The board is back to life :)
